  • Mpumalanga (The East): Our long-term vision includes the rehabilitation and reuse of gold reserve infrastructure within the historic Barberton areas.

We stand on the shoulders of pioneers. Gold in the Limpopo region was first discovered in 1870 by Jacobus du Preez, with formal mining operations spearheaded by Edward Button in 1871. These mines were once the cornerstone of South African mineral wealth. LVMC honors this legacy by reclaiming these historic sites and applying 21st-century innovation to untapped reserves.
